Open Your Heart Love Print - by Robert R

Open Your Heart - I'll Make You Love Me - Madonna
What is it about life that makes us run and hide?
Love is so many things.  I love Art!   Love is disapearing and thinking beyond what is inside your your minds reach.
It takes us to a different place.  Where we are truly free.  What do you love?
We all love many things.    Love means a lot to different people.    Maybe love is just about being happy within your own skin and appreciating what we have.   Only then can it be possible for someone to love us back...

Life is sweet and short – we forget sometimes how fragile life is – Robert R

Life is sweet and short – we forget sometimes how fragile life is – Robert R
life is good.  Today.  I worry about yesterday. About tomorrow.  Just today is all I need.   I feel a breeze on my face.  The warmth of sunshine.  We forget about the simple beautiful things caught up in the daily grind of Bureaucrats and fiscals.
Today is simply beautiful.   Vision, art beauty.   Enjoy all that is good.  But even in death can we find so much beauty in a song… – R
I guess the death card also symbolizes letting go, moving forward.
Forgetting about past errors and pains.  Life is not easy.   Sometimes it takes just one person or idea to change our life.
We move forward to our destiny.  Death is inevitable.  Life is Short!

If I die young, bury me in satin
Lay me down on a bed of roses
Sink me in the river at dawn
Send me away with the words of a love songUh oh, uh oh Lord make me a rainbow, I’ll shine down on my mother
She’ll know I’m safe with you when she stands under my colors, oh,
And life ain’t always what you think it ought to be, no
Ain’t even grey, but she buries her baby
The sharp knife of a short life, oh well
I’ve had just enough time
If I die young, bury me in satin
Lay me down on a bed of roses
Sink me in the river at dawn
Send me away with the words of a love song
The sharp knife of a short life, oh well
I’ve had just enough time
And I’ll be wearing white, when I come into your kingdom
I’m as green as the ring on my little cold finger,
I’ve never known the lovin’ of a man
But it sure felt nice when he was holdin’ my hand,
There’s a boy here in town, says he’ll love me forever,

Choose an artist with substance over style, Blog entry 11/5/13

The style over substance fallacy is a rhetorical technique, whereby the author embellishes their argument with compelling language and various terms of art, in order to silence dissent. Neither of these — poetry or obfuscation, are legitimate logical analyses.
The fallacy works in two ways. It can propose an idea using style rather than substance, or they can reject an idea by attacking its style and presentation rather than its information content. The writing might be wonderful, and the references seemingly deep, but what matters is the content of the argument — the substance. If the argument is good, others will make it pretty. If all that is good is the "style", please, write novels instead. art abstract paintings modern

Abstract Paintings www.SplashyArtist.com 6 ft Wide – Artist Biography

Abstract Paintings www.SplashyArtist.com 6 ft Wide – Artist Biography

Hello, welcome to the fine art of Robert Rodriguez.  I am the sole creator of The Downtown Art Gallery located in Tucson, Arizona.
My studio is located in the heart of Tucson, Arizona; in the historic Iron Horse District.
Currently I have collections from coast to coast, Los Angeles to New York.  My collections are in homes like yours and businesses across the country.  Thanks to google my art is reaching people across the world.  It is a great pleasure creating art that brings joy to so many people!
I am an abstract expressionist artist painter. My personal view on art is based on several key principals: Emotional connection, visualization, higher thought consciousness, color therapy and healing. Along with these principles I incorporate colorful energy into all aspects of my design. Most of my art concepts are created by imitating nature. By breaking from conventional and contained design; this in effect transcends existing structure and boundaries in a dynamic visual way. I paint in full Arizona sunlight that expediates the dry process and also infuses the layers and colors.
After completing my studies in Fine Art at The University of Arizona in 1992, I visited many museums abroad and continued to work on my craft.
As an emerging self-representational artist, I originally worked in Advertising and Desktop Publishing. I eventually decided to abandon “Corporate America” and became a full-time self-employed artist and painter. It was the best decision of my life because it gave me limitless freedom to explore and create.
My work consists of original hand painted pieces incorporating 14 Gold paint, Silver leaf, Bronze and Copper elements on canvas.
My work can be defined as: texture, color and energy for life! I believe in discovery and breakthroughs; the use of color, majestic finishes and patinas resembles rich unearthed minerals and undiscovered gems.
Creating art for me is a conceptual journey that is intuitive; I like to infuse symbolic imagery such as the infinity symbol, leaves, trees and petroglyph symbols in my art to represent the complex yet organic nature of life. Nothing ventured in art is accidental.
The art is intricate. I put great thought into every piece. Many hours are spent painting them and especially formulating the colors and textures. I find myself inventing many new color combinations and giving them unique names; eg: “Bronze Chocolate Latte Sunset”
I strive for high quality work and use only the finest quality artist materials. 14k gold metallic colors and German variegated gold leaf are also used to create stunning luminance. The light that reflects off of the artwork is stunning, my panel series can be arranged in any direction for a glamorous display and adds drama to any setting.
Many customers are pleased to find that the quality exceeds their expectations. The custom commission process is a dynamic process of understanding the needs of everyone and being innovative yet retaining my personal signature.
I enjoy the fruits of labor and the hard work that pays off through my art.
Each of the canvases are built from scratch on gallery inch thick stretched canvas. Hand stretched canvas is wrapped around pine stretcher bars and neatly stapled on the back. Every painting is quality built to museum standards. I invest time and money on the best materials.
A final coat of fine art varnish was applied to protect your investment from UV and dust.
This painting is not a print of any kind. This is original art. No prints are offered on this art as my style does not lend it self to that medium.
Your painting will arrive on a top-notch high quality, gallery wrapped canvas, with staple-free edges. The edges will be painted to allow for immediate, frame-free hanging. The painting will be original, authentic and personally signed by the artist Robert R Fine Art-  Splashy Art Paintings.
I am very passionate about my craft. I strive for excellence and use only the finest artist materials. The art is shipped to clients around the country and the world.
Thank you for expressing interest in my original works of art.

“Bronze Chocolate Latte Sunset” and signature piece “The Red Dragon” a original piece now resting in the private collection of a buyer in New York city. I strive to make my online sites as representative of my work as they can be, any customer can view my current bio/info at: www.robertr.com or the artist gallery site of newly listed works at: www.thedowntownartgallery.com

Why Art Matters Art Abstract Paintings Modern Online Gallery Artist Emerging - Robert R

April 20th 2013-  Why Art Matters. - Robert R-  Ok here is my first blog ever about my art, I have no idea where this going but here goes!

Art is about self-expression.  I call it freedom.   Painting allows one to disappear and become one with thy true self.  I love abstract art because I can explore freedom on a  canvas. What is great is going beyond the edges and letting the paint flow over. There are no restraints.  Wouldn't it be great to live my life that way.    Painting in its true form is unleashed with no boundaries.  Abstract art is perfect in it's own sense because it imitates nothing.  Art trancends everything. We all love art. We pay for escape everyday. We see things we love and we want it.
Painting in a sense is my life.  I create because it is who I am.   I live through paint.  Painting is my therapy and escape from the mundane reality of everyday life.  I paint because it is my craft and my trade.  I am lucky to have discovered a way to channel my active life and utilize my physical being to create things with my own two hands.   It goes beyond my hands to my vision, my body and entire being.

The paintings are created from my entire self.   I could just paint something, but that would not be enough. I have to create something from scratch from the surface painted on the construction of the frames to support it.   Perhaps I was born in the wrong century.   Modern day society is something that I am incapable of doing without.  I wouldnt live this life if it was easy.  Come on challenge me oh Universe.

Art for me is about analyzing form, what I see through electronic medium and bringing  it into real life.

The art is then put back on the medium to show to the world.   It's basically Virtual Reality Art.  I live and breathe through this electronic medium searching, looking connecting with people digitally.

I know this makes no sense.   I am writing this with the hope that someone reads this and makes sense out of senseless words.  I never speak about my art or the process for several reasons.

The art should speak for itself.   That is half of the problem of selling it.  I need someone to speak for it and stand for it.   Art is it's own entity like a person.

Art is art, it's who I am and separate from who I am as a physical person operating in a physical world.

It makes no sense to me.  Its just money on the table.  So I must speak and find people who see the vision and are willing to share it and own it.

enough , i have no idea what i am saying.   Enjoy the art!  See the entire gallery at http://www.splashyartist.com

There Are No Boundaries To Your Imagination

Nothing gets my blood boiling like an emasculated imagination… especially if it’s mine.
Your imagination is limitless, that’s what makes it an “imagination.”
It’s possible to grab, steal, twist, dig, create and breathe life into anything you wish with your imagination. You can solve impossible problems, escape harsh realities and develop a new life script with your imagination.
That’s what makes your imagination so wonderful, the fact that it sees beyond current realities.
The imagination is a fearful thing for those, who like to control or manipulate, they can’t measure it, they can’t predict it and that frightens them.
Don’t let anyone limit your infinite imagination, it’s your gift not theirs. http://sevensentences.com/2013/02/25/infinite-imagination/
